It’s fair to say that the last year has been a complete rollercoaster. If we all think back to April 2020, did we really know what was to come in the following months? One year later, we think that answer is a big NO from us all. However, looking back and reflecting upon those months there is a lot to digest, learn from and smile about.
For Freshly Squeezed Events, we (like many other businesses) have pivoted in a way that we could never of imagined. Virtual Events have become our new best friend. Of course we miss “normal life” and the face to face contact with our amazing clients and customers. However, we have learnt so much, adapted in so many ways and found a new love for our incredible industry.
In what felt like over night, our whole world changed and we had to adapt quickly to the demand of the Virtual World. Clients, businesses and customers soon realised that in person events were going to be impossible for a very long time. Cue the virtual world moving into sixth gear and BOOMING. If people ask us what we do now, we say “if you can do it online, we’re doing it” and that really is no joke. Drag Queens, Horse Racing, Cooking Classes, Theatre Shows, Stand Up, Karaoke, Safaris – the crazy list goes on….and on…..

As well as events, Conferences and Meetings have been transported to the Virtual world. We have embraced this change and see so many benefits to the new virtual presentation. We know that the “real life” and “in-person” event will never be replaced but the virtual option has allowed events to still happen – even during a global pandemic! Some of the benefits include:
