Although it is part of St Anton’s magnificent ski circuit, the small but perfectly formed bijou hamlet of St Christoph is a major attraction in its own right.
St Christoph is the tiniest of resorts – a handful of colourful old buildings cocooned in deep snow – St Christoph has a fairy-tale quality not repeated anywhere in Austria. A real get-away but within the vast, famous Arlberg ski area and home to one of the Arlberg’s most famous eating haunts the Hospitz Alm boasting a very fine and extensive wine cellar.
It is a 10 min bus or taxi ride from St Anton and all the hotels are ski-in, ski-out with lifts accessing the vast St Anton Arlberg ski area. St Christoph is also a short (15 min) bus ride through the dramatic Arlberg pass to Zurs and Lech. The resort height is 1800m resulting in a great and reliable snow record.
Due to it’s location it is suitable for all ski levels as you have access to the whole Arlberg ski area. There is a ski school that meets right in the heart of this tiny resort.
