Blow away the cobwebs with an exciting Rib boat experience on the Thames or the Solent
23 Sep, 2009
With the doom and gloom of the past 12 months and the onset of winter, keeping up team spirit can be quite tricky! We've got just the tonic with a Thames Rib Blast Treasure Hunt
Along with our Rib partners we can offer one of the most exciting events within the M25! With no speed limits on large stretches of the Thames, we are able to make full use of the breathtaking speed and performance characteristics of these amazing boats. Using Europe's largest fleet of Ribs, we can entertain groups of up to 400 people - an ideal accompaniment to a meeting, conference or product launch.
The Rib Treasure Hunt focuses on solving fiendish clues within the heart of London. You will see London in a whole new light from the water - the shallow draft enables the boats to get right up to world famous landmarks - vital for solving the clues.
As well as the all important competitive element, the Treasure Hunt encompasses a high speed blast from Tower Bridge to beyond the Thames Barrier- an amazing and nerve jangling preview of the 2012 Olympic site.
River Thames Rib Treasure Hunts run throughout the year. Only snow storms stop us!!

Can running an event in these difficult times really be the right decision?
21 Jul, 2009
Can you justify running an event in these tough financial times? What is appropriate? What will the perception be? What will the ROI be? These are all valid questions. Of course we would say this is one of the most important times to generate loyalty, motivate teams and make an impact, we're an events specialist...
But on a serious level though, the feedback from our clients is that one to one marketing is more important than ever. Meeting clients face to face, nurturing relationships, spoiling them and keeping your business at the forefront of their mind is imperative moving forward. A quote from a recent event we ran... "This enabled us to spend quality time with the clients and build strong personal relationships. We have managed to expand activities with these clients, even through difficult economic times."
With redundancies in the news nearly daily, job insecurity on a day to day level is at its highest for many years. Some of the symptoms we are hearing about at the moment are: tired employees who are scared to leave on time for fear of it reflecting badly on them, people clearly focussing on there own targets primarily as oppose to the whole team or company's objectives, people attending work who are poorly as they daren't be off sick. I think we all agree that this atmosphere doesn't bring the best out in our biggest asset, our employees. Team building really can make a difference as one of our clients recently told us following an event we ran for them...
"We have noticed an improvement in morale, but more importantly business results as the staff are now focussed towards succeeding in an economic downturn."
